§ 6.28.110. Quarantine—Disposition of animals at large.

  • When a quarantine order has been issued pursuant to Section 6.28.080 and dogs or cats or other animals continue to run at large, uncontrolled by the owners or persons responsible for their control, any law enforcement officer shall have the right, after reasonable effort has been made on the part of the animal control officer or his agents to apprehend and impound such animals running at large, to kill such animals and properly dispose of their bodies.
