§ 6.20.010. Duties.

Animal control officers shall serve under the supervision of the chief of police. It shall be the duty of the animal control supervisor to receive, impound and safely keep all such animals and fowl turned loose, abandoned, running at large, or straying and going upon any of the streets, alleys, public places or lot or property not owned or leased by the owners thereof within the city.
