§ 6.16.040. Livestock—At large prohibited.

  • No livestock shall be turned loose, abandoned or allowed to run at large within the city. No such animal shall be so tethered or tied that it may go upon or into any street or public place, or upon the lot or property of any other than the lot or property of the person owning or occupying such lot or property, without the consent of the owner thereof. It is unlawful for any person to herd or detain in any street, avenue, alley or public place within the city any of the animals mentioned in this section or to allow any of the animals to go upon the lot or property of any other person, without the consent of the owner thereof.
