§ 5.32.150. Operating outside designated hours prohibited.

  • With the sole exception of that period of time between eight-thirty a.m. and five-thirty p.m., from Mondays through Saturdays, the practice of going in and upon private premises and residences in the city by transient vendors and solicitors, not having been requested or invited to do so by the owner or occupant of such private residence, for the purpose of soliciting orders for the sale of goods, wares and merchandise, or for the purpose of disposing or peddling of the same, is declared to be a nuisance, and punishable as such nuisance as a misdemeanor.
