§ 17.150.210. Agricultural uses.

  • A.

    Agriculture (SIC 011-017, 019, 021-025, 0272, 0811). These uses include:

    1.

    Farms (with and without farm residences), orchards, aquaculture and truck farming,

    2.

    The raising of livestock, cattle, horses, poultry and bees. No more than one animal unit per acre is allowed,

    3.

    Commercial boarding stables, kennels (SIC 0752 and 0273 (part)) and domestic animal breeding;

    B.

    Farmstead. A residential-agricultural unit in which the land is used for agriculture and residential purposes by the owner/operator of the agricultural operation;

    C.

    Intensive Agriculture (SIC 0182, 02 part). These uses include:

    1.

    Any agricultural uses such as feed lots, hog farms and poultry operations where animals are tightly confined in buildings or outdoor pens or pastures with more than one animal unit per acre,

    2.

    Greenhouses (wholesale only);

    D.

    Nurseries. Nurseries and ornamental floriculture (SIC 0181).
