§ 16.04.085. Minimum operating standards for airport aeronautical services.

  • A.

    There is hereby adopted the minimum operating standards for airport aeronautical services, adopted and recommended in its entirety by the Clovis civil aviation board, in the form attached to the ordinance codified in this chapter. A copy of the minimum standards shall be filed in the office of the city clerk and the airport manager. A copy of the minimum standards shall be provided to each aeronautical service provider at the Clovis Municipal Airport and shall be otherwise available upon request, for a reasonable charge.

    B.

    Every person, firm, corporation, or organization which has a concession, lease, or specific permission to provide airport aeronautical services at Clovis Municipal Airport shall comply with the minimum operating standards applicable to the airport aeronautical service authorized. In the event any concessionaire fails to meet the minimum standards, or ceases to provide a service authorized by the concession agreement, the authority to provide that specific aeronautical service shall be suspended and shall not be resumed until the commercial aviation operator establishes full compliance with the minimum standards.

    C.

    The minimum operating standards for airport aeronautical services may be amended, upon recommendation of the civil aviation board, only upon majority approval by the Clovis city commission.
