§ 15.48.200. Screening requirements.

Latest version.
  • No license for the operation of a trailer camp, and no approval for the filing of a mobile home subdivision, shall be issued until the applicant therefor shall have obtained approval from the planning commission of a plan by which the trailer camp or mobile home subdivision shall be screened from adjacent areas. The screening shall be of such materials, either natural or artificial, as the planning commission shall require; provided, that the screening shall be sufficient physically to separate the trailer camp or mobile home subdivision from adjacent areas. The planning commission is authorized to waive the screening requirement imposed by this section, based upon the written consent of all abutting property owners, with all public rights-of-way being excluded for the purpose of determining what property is abutting, and pursuant to such regulations applicable thereto as the commission may adopt.
