§ 15.44.020. Interior lot fence restrictions.

  • Except under the conditions set forth in Section 17.50.110 of this code, it is unlawful to construct, alter or maintain any fence greater than twenty-four inches in height between the street line of such lot. A woven wire or other fence not more than forty-eight inches in height, and with openings therein of not less than eighty percent of surface area, may be constructed between the street line and the building line. The openings in such fence shall be maintained in such manner as to insure that the openings in the fence shall at all times be no less than eighty percent of surface area.
