§ 15.40.010. Number of parking spaces required-Residences and temporary lodging facilities.

  • Off-street parking space shall be provided in connection with the erection or increase by units or dimension of any building or structure in the following amounts:

    A.

    For one-family and two-family dwellings, two parking spaces per family unit;

    B.

    For multifamily units or apartments having more than two-family dwellings, two and one-half parking spaces per unit, regardless of the number of units per structure any fraction of a space will be considered one additional space;

    C.

    For hotels, motels, temporary lodging facilities, one parking space for each guest or sleeping room or suite, plus additional space as required by this chapter because of any supplementary parking space demand associated with the premises, such as bars, ballrooms, night club facilities and the like.
