§ 12.16.060. Permit—Fee payment schedule and responsibility.

  • A.

    Any person making application for a permit, as provided in this chapter, shall pay to the city a fee based upon the following schedule:

    1.

    For houses, buildings or structures having a floor area of five hundred square feet or less, a fee of five dollars; provided, however, that no such fee shall be required for the moving of houses, buildings or structures in this category from a point within the corporate limits of the city to a point outside the corporate limits;

    2.

    For houses, buildings or structures having over five hundred square feet of floor space, a fee of fifteen dollars;

    3.

    For all commercial buildings, regardless of floor space, a fee of twenty-five dollars. Except, where a house, building or structure of new construction is not removed from a foundation or to a foundation in the city, a fee of five dollars shall be charged without regard to floor space.

    B.

    The licensed mover shall be responsible to the city for securing the permits and for the payment of the fees specified in subsection A.
