§ 12.08.050. Obstructions in business area unlawful.

  • It is unlawful for any person to place, sack or pile upon the sidewalk in any area designated as a business area any merchandise, or any boxes, barrels or other containers, so as to constitute an obstruction to the use of the sidewalk. Any merchant having an established place of business may display merchandise for sale upon a public sidewalk, so long as an unimpeded area at least four feet in width is left for pedestrian use.
