§ 12.04.080. Safety requirements around excavation and hazards.

  • Whenever under any permission given under the terms of this chapter an excavation is made and remains open during the nighttime, or any other extra hazard is created, it shall be the duty of the person to whom permission is granted to guard against accidents, to provide barriers, signal lights or flares at the place of such excavation or other hazard, and at such distance therefrom as may be prudently suitable.
